Stains & Spills (Before & After)
Images 1 & 2 - Red Wine Spills - Red wine stains are tannin based and it may not always be possible to completely remove them. The success depends on the tannin, the fibre type, the age of the stain, if any previous attempts have been made to remove the stain, and what was been used in attempting stain removal.
Images 3 & 4 - Radiator Spill - We were called in to clean up after a plumber managed to empty some of the contents from the radiator on to the carpet. While we were there we also managed to clean the tea and coffee spills, which we believe had been there some time before we arrived.
Images 4 & 5 - Coffee Spill - Not all coffee spills are completely removable. This is due to a number of variables: The carpet fibres- wool or synthetic: Was the coffee instant or ground: Decaffeinated: Did it contain milk, sugar or both, was the coffee hot or cold. All these factors change the way the coffee spill react with the fibres. Then we have to take into account how the client has attempted to clear the spill.
