Nubuck Restoration (Before & After)
Nubuck Restoration Clean - We were lucky to have the chance of cleaning three Nubuck chairs. As you can see they were heavily soiled in the wear areas. We were pleased with the results and our client was over the moon, in fact they were contemplating replacing them before we cleaned them.
Nubuck is a tricky hide to treat; it has a very short pile or nape with a fine velvety feel. It tends to stain very easily and is unforgiving in as much that any water stains are usually permanent.
The tops of the arms of the chairs were touched up with a little pigment and to finish the job off we applied a protector, it will not be bullet proof but will help resist staining.
